Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Small waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
A very rare three hour non-stop session at Hove for me. Still blowing old
boots as I left. Wind was wnw at a guess, more offshore than usual so
plumes blowing off the tops of the small waves in the gusts. Bit of a wind
shadow on the inside so went for a 5.5m on 100ltr freestyle board to see me
through the lulls and planing on the waves. Lovely combo and didnt have to
tweak it or stop sailing at all. Bit of a handful when a dark cloud came
through, but at least that meant more power on the inside knee high waves.
Had some loooong looping downwind runs on the swell and the inside waves,
sometimes just peeling on and on as they hit the bare sand. sweet stuff.
